Root canal treatment is necessary when the pulp has been infected by bacteria, traumatized in an accident or decayed too deeply.
Before proceeding with treatment, we carry out a diagnosis based on a number of clinical tests. Identifying the origin of the pain enables us to define the appropriate care and therapeutic treatment.
Under local anaesthetic, the treatment consists of cleaning the canals inside the tooth using special instruments.
The nerve tissue is then replaced with a synthetic material, and a permanent restoration is performed to close the access and restore the tooth's shape.
